Delivery Date Control Center is a Shopify app that helps merchants manage delivery and pickup date selection, order delivery details, and operational planning. This policy explains what data the app processes and how it is used.
Data we process
The app processes only the data needed to provide delivery and pickup management features to merchants. Depending on how a merchant uses the app, this may include:
- Shopify shop information, such as the shop domain and app installation session.
- Order information needed for delivery operations, such as order ID, order name, payment status, fulfillment status, cancellation status, order creation time, and selected shipping method.
- Delivery and pickup details stored in Shopify order metafields, such as delivery date, pickup date, shipping method key, and optional shipping method title.
- Limited shipping address location information, such as country, province, city, or postal code, when needed to apply delivery zones or help merchants review delivery planning.
- Customer contact fields such as name, email, or phone only when they are available through Shopify order data and needed for merchant order review or delivery support.
How we use data
We use data to:
- Show valid delivery and pickup dates during Shopify checkout.
- Save selected delivery and pickup details on Shopify orders.
- Keep the merchant dashboard and order overview in sync when orders are created, paid, updated, fulfilled, or cancelled.
- Help merchants plan upcoming deliveries, pickup operations, carrier collections, capacity limits, and customer service workflows.
We do not use customer data for advertising, profiling, resale, or unrelated marketing purposes.
Shopify webhooks
The app may receive Shopify webhooks for app lifecycle events and order events, including order creation, payment, updates, and cancellation. These webhooks are used to keep delivery and pickup information current for the merchant.
Data sharing
We do not sell customer data. Data is processed through Shopify and infrastructure providers that host and operate the app. These providers are used only to run the app and deliver its functionality.
Data retention
We retain app data only for as long as needed to provide the app, support merchant operations, comply with legal obligations, or resolve support requests. Merchants can uninstall the app from Shopify. When the app is uninstalled, app sessions are removed and app access to the store is revoked.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect data. Access to production systems is limited to authorized personnel who need access to operate or support the app.
Merchant and customer rights
Merchants can contact us to request help with data access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions related to Delivery Date Control Center. Customer privacy requests should generally be made to the merchant that operates the Shopify store.
